Party #3

It's hard to keep up with a 9 month olds social calendar! Today we went to our third Halloween party. I joined a new moms group a few weeks ago and this was the first event I attended. Will and I met a few friends there and had a very nice time. Here are a few pictures of the festivities.

Y M C A

We attended our second Halloween event this evening. It was at the YMCA in Boulder. Some friends of ours are members and they invited us. The activities were mostly for older children, but Will had a great time people watching. They had a Halloween ice skating show that we watched for a bit. Will was so cute--he'd laugh and clap after each person did something cool like a jump or twirl. I think he was only clapping because he heard other people doing it...he was always a few seconds behind :)
They had hayrides out front...Will loved watching the horses and laughed each time they moved

First Halloween event

Last night we went to a Fall Festival at the school I used to teach at. It was so cute to see my former students dressed up! Will wore his monkey costume and carried his pumpkin bag. Everyone commented on how cute he was and I have to agree! This event was just the first of many to come. We are actually going to a Halloween related event everyday next week!

Grammie came to visit us last weekend and we had a great time! The weather couldn't have been better--in the 70s all weekend! We went back to the pumpkin patch to see the petting zoo as last time it was too cold for the animals to be out. Will was more interested in watching the people than the animals! David and I were able to go on many dates which was very nice. We met friends in Denver one night which hasn't happened in a very long time! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Pumpkin patch!

We had a wonderful visit with Grandma and Grandpa. They arrived Thursday afternoon and brought Will a few Halloween goodies including a book and new outfit. He was most impressed with the bag in which all of the goodies came in :) We went to the pumpkin patch on Friday and chose 5 beautiful pumpkins. They have a petting zoo there and Will loved watching the animals. The weather was very windy, but sunny. The rest of the weekend was cold and snowy. The Tanners always seem to bring the snow with them! Saturday we all went to Lowe's to buy a space heater for the basement. Will was mesmerized by all of the Christmas decorations...I can't wait for Christmas time! Saturday night we went to church and out to dinner at our favorite restaurant, Noodles and Co. This morning Will brought Grandma and Grandpa to his music class. Now we have two days of quiet time and then Grammie comes to visit! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

9 months!

Will is 9 months old today and to celebrate we went to the zoo with friends. I have met some wonderful new mommy friends through the library storytime. Through them, I have joined 2 new moms groups. My calendar is very full and I love it! Today we went to the zoo with Shannon and Brandon, Courtney and Ella, Karen and Megan. It was a free day at the zoo and it was very busy. I guess everyone wanted to enjoy one last day outdoors before the snow comes! Grandma and Grandpa Tanner are coming this weekend. We were going to go to the pumpkin patch, but I guess we'll have to see what the weather decides to do. That's the fun of living in Colorado! Will and Mommy
