Stock Show

We went to the National Western Stock Show yesterday. It comes every year to Denver and I love it!! We didn't go last year as Will was just a few days old. I can't wait until he's older and can ride in the Stick Horse Rodeo or do Muttin' Bustin'.

We had to buy a new cowboy hatWatching the cows get weighed. The one that was just on the scale weighed 1195 lbs!

Doc appt

Will had his one year doctor appt today. He was a little unsure about the whole thing as we haven't been to see her in 6 months. His doctor is so nice and explains everything very clearly. Will weighs 21lb 10 oz (31%) (which is exactly 3x his birth weight). He's 29.5 inches long (24%) and his head circ is 18 inches (30%). He's a little guy!!

Birthdays

Will and I both had our birthdays last week. His was a little more exciting than mine! He turned the big 1 on Jan 7. I can't believe I have a toddler! We had his birthday party at the rec center and went swimming with friends. It was alot of fun. As we were driving to the rec center, we passed by the hospital where he was born. It was so weird to remember that a year ago, we were in there. It's just amazing how much he's changed from last Jan 7 to this Jan 7. He's started walking and loves to walk between David and I. He's got 3 teeth and the fourth just broke through. He laughs, smiles and "talks" all the time. He's extremily curious and will remember something even if you try to hide it! He's such a joy and I can't remember what life was like without him!

Rockin' New Year

We spent NYE at our friend's house. They live near us and have a son, Wyatt, who is a month younger than Will. There were 6 other couples there. The party started at 4pm and went until the wee hour of 8pm. Will had a great time playing with everyone and David and I had fun talking with friends.
